Key Achievements:
APEC Regional Occupational Standards (OS):
Spearheading the design and delivery of training programs for the development and validation of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) regional Occupational Standards. Our commitment spans three programs of work, guiding member countries in the transport, logistics, and ports sectors.
Pacific Alliance OS Development:
Crafting and delivering a comprehensive program for the development, negotiation, and validation of Occupational Standards (OS) for priority job roles in the transport and logistics industry across Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico within the Pacific Alliance.
Industry-Led VET Model in Vietnam:
Successfully introducing the Industry-Led Vocational Education and Training (VET) Model in Logistics in Vietnam. Our support established the Logistics Industry Reference Committee (LIRC), Technical Working Group (TWG), and Secretariat, mirroring the successful Australian Transport and Logistics model.
Operational Manuals and Roadmap:
Providing operational manuals for LIRC and a strategic five-year Roadmap to 2024, laying the groundwork for an industry-led skills development model in Vietnam.
Legacy Strategic Documents and Capacity Building:
Delivering effective legacy strategic documents and training, including a case study on the pilot industry-led VET model in Vietnam, technical skills training in industry intelligence, and advanced research and analysis skills.
Gender Equality, Diversity, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Strategy:
Drafting and operationalising the inaugural Gender Equality, Diversity, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Strategy and Action Plan for Nguyen Huu Canh College.
Occupational Standards (OS) for Logistics Sector:
Developing and validating four new OS for the logistics sector - truck driver, forklift operator, port stevedore, and commercial counter officer. These standards align with high-priority job roles identified by the LIRC and validated by industry.
